Who am I I am first and foremost a mother of two wonderful sons. I am a dancer, a yogi, and a shamanic practitioner and I practice daily mindfulness. I believe that when we follow our heart and do what we love we do our best work. I love helping people to flourish and so I coach.
My Journey From 1991 to 2009 I was the Chief Executive of a media training organisation; Connections Communications Centre which was based in Hammersmith, London. Our purpose was to promote inclusion and diversity in the media. During this time I was convinced of the power of the arts to promote individual and collective change through storytelling. I then became curious about the power of the stories that we tell ourselves in our heads.
I was very fortunate to meet Dr Richard Bandler and Paul McKenna and under their guidance, I trained as a master hypnotic practitioner and trainer of NLP.
From there I went on to study with Tony Robbins, Ya’Acov Darling Khan, shaman and co-founder of Movement Medicine and Chris Luttichau, shaman and founder of Northern Drum. I have also studied at Ashridge Business School, University of Essex, London South Bank University, Goldsmiths University, Institute of Directors, the Gestalt Centre, Harthill Associates, Metanoia Institute, Management Futures and I am currently studying at the Centre for Counselling Psychotherapy Education (CCPE).
My Coaching Model I am a transpersonal developmental coach working within an integrative framework with brings psychology, philosophy and neuroscience into a therapeutic coaching framework. My coaching model is held by the psychodynamic and existential-phenomenological approaches which are informed by NeuroLinguistic Programming (NLP), Gestalt, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy/Coaching (CBT/CBC), Somatic Experiencing, Neuroscience and Transactional Analysis (TA).
- My coaching is transformational in that my clients not only develop new skills, behaviours and thinking but their consciousness is expanded into a new more holistic way of being.
- My coaching is transpersonal in that I work with the whole self; mind, body and soul. My style is relational, somatic and systemic.
I hold all my clients in unconditional positive regard and provide a safe, nurturing and non-judgmental space for you to expand your awareness of self, others and the system in which you live and work.
