Who am I        I am first and foremost a mother of two wonderful sons.  I am a dancer, a yogi and practice daily mindfulness.  I believe that when we follow our heart and do what we love we do our best work.  I love helping people to flourish and so I coach.

I was very fortunate to meet Dr Richard Bandler and Paul McKenna and under their guidance I  trained as a master hypnotic practitioner and trainer of NLP.  When I returned from my trainer training in Florida I was invited to join the team as a training assistant.  This was an amazing opportunity to experience the training of Richard Bandler over and over again and each session took my learning to a new level.

I have studied at Ashridge Business School, University of Essex, Institute of Directors, Gestalt Centre, Goldsmiths University, Harthill Associates, Metanioa Institute, Management Futures and I am currently studying at the Centre for Counselling Psychotherapy Education (CCPE).

My business experience                   I was the CEO of a media arts charity for 18 years.  I was recruited when the organisation had lost its’ funding and closed its’ doors.  This was an exciting challenge and I built the organisation up from a one off one year grant of £30k to an income of over £1.3 million per year.  Connections became the first fully accessible broadcast standard media centre winning recognition and support from the BBC, Channel Four, British Film Institute and the Film Council.

As a Fellow, Chartered Director and an interviewer with the Institute of Directors I am very privileged to meet inspirational business leaders and hear their strategies for success.

Empowering others                 At university I was involved in a filmmaking co-operative and  I became fascinated by the power of story-telling through film.   I went on to train young people to tell their stories through the medium of film.  This proved to be a therapeutic process for them and I  witnessed their confidence grow as people took an interest in the stories they projected on the screen.

Why I became a coach                  I realised that the stories and films that we create in our heads influence the way we make meaning of our experiences and interact with our external environment.  In 2005 I attended an NLP seminar and at the end of the day the world seemed to have changed.  Of course the world hadn’t changed but the way that I perceived the world had.

I always aim to do my best and wherever I worked I was promoted  quickly and nearly always without training.  I would step up and achieve but the effort this took and the stress I experienced impacted on all areas of my life. The breakthrough for me was when I realised that it was the way that I thought about things that created my stress.  Through coaching I realised I had the power to choose to live a happy and stress-free life.

We all have this power of choice and I can share the techniques that I have learned with you.  The speed at which my clients achieve the changes in their life that they want never ceases to amaze me.

My coaching model

My coaching is transformational in that my clients not only develop new skills, behaviours and thinking but their consciousness is expanded into a new more holistic way of being. My coaching is transpersonal in that I work with the whole self; mind, body and soul.  My style is relational, somatic and systemic.

I have created and work within an integrated model of psychological, coaching and business tools which include but are not limited to Depth Psychology, Gestalt, Somatic Experiencing, NLP, Neuroscience, Action Logic (Leadership Profile Assessor), Mindfulness and Psychodynamic processes.

I hold all my clients in unconditional positive regard and provide a safe, nurturing and non-judgmental space for us to expand awareness of self, other and the system in which we live and work.

Accreditation       I am a member of the Association for Coaching (AC) and is their events organiser for London. I am a professional practicing executive coach for the Association for Professional Executive Coaches and Supervisors (APECS) and abides by the code of ethics set by both accreditation bodies.
